::Tinian Island is interesting prehistorically as well as historically. The largest standing "Latte stone" structure, "The House of Taga" is on Tinian. A "Latte Stone" quarry is located on the limestone outcroppings near the ocean front. That is very likely the site from which the stones at House of Taga were fashioned. Tinian is also the site of the "Enola Gay" & "Bockskar" B-29s , who delivered the Atomic bombs to Hiroshima & Nagasaki. The bombs were constructed on Tinian after the USS Indianapolis delivered the parts there in 1945. The Island was the World's largest airport in 1945. There is much to see on Tinian. The new Chinese casinos are ready for your business.
